⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tell us about your brand and where you were before we started?
My brand is Drip Accessory and we are a sweat accessory brand. Our driving product has been the spintowel, which is a line of custom-fit handlebar covers for the connected fitness spin category. I see the brand evolving to include way more products and accessories, so that’s why I needed a style guide, to pull everything together.

Before working with you, I would just find myself looking at our ads and going “ugh”.. I mean, we needed those ads to generate sales, but they were just not.. where they should be. Even if I wasn’t totally “prepared” to jump into it, I feel like it was a perfect time to do this. That’s the life of an entrepreneur, you just have to dive in and trust the process. and I’m SO glad I did. It’s been SUCH a relief. Like a giant weight has been lifted. Knowing I have this style guide ready to go just feels GREAT.

How do you feel about your experience? Was it what you expected?
It was just a complete pleasure from beginning to end. The experience was originally a little stressful for me and it was something that I had to carve out time for, but as we went along the process it started to click more and more, so yeah it totally went above & beyond what I was expecting. I’m 1000% happy. I’m the type of business owner who’s ‘a jack of all trades’ and you were so great to work with, because you completely understood that. I totally felt like it was a team collaboration.

What are your thoughts on our process, using strategy to inform the design decisions?
At the beginning I didn’t even fully understand that the process was going to be so detailed, but it was still so easy to move through and it all felt very organized. I loved how informative and thoughtful it was and how patient you were, explaining each step.

How does it compare to your experience with other design teams?
Wildly different. The whole experience was just AWESOME. I felt respected. It was a collaboration, a partnership. Which was NOT the case at all with previous designers I worked with, who were so ego-driven and wouldn’t let me contribute at all in the process, despite it costing me thousands to work with them. It just ended up feeling like a waste of time and money. This was WORLDS apart.

I’ve just been totally impressed with the whole system. There was no con. I genuinely can’t think of anything that could’ve made it better.

Do you feel like you’re set up for success now?
Even though I’m technically not as “tech-savvy” as I want to be, I feel like you set everything up in a way that really helps me be more involved, and have all the tools to take my brand forward.

As a business owner I have to focus on developing the next product, so it’s great to have this brand guide to help me eliminate a lot of the back and forth with vendors. I don’t have to waste any of my time or energy on that now.

When you sent me the final guidelines link, I was just like “ Who can I send this to?!” I’m just SO excited and confident with the brand now.

Any last thoughts?
I love that you’re a sister team. GIRL POWER! and I would like to add that I’m also just really happy with how patient you’ve been, showing me some tricks along the way. Definitely looking forward to working with you again soon.

THANK YOU!
